Sam Ross opened the first Fantastic Sams in Memphis, TN in 1974. He began with the goal of creating an affordable salon experience that provided all types of haircutting and styling services but was still accessible to everyone – men, women, and children. He achieved that goal, and today, we are one of the world’s largest full-service salons with more than 1000 locations nationwide.
